Microsoft Dynamics GP Canadian Payroll consulting

The team at GP Support North has been supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP for over 3 years.  Over that time we have performed hundreds of Canadian Payroll implementations and 3rd party add-on software integrations.  For many Payroll isn't just managing weekly pay cheques, it is also managing T4 and T2 tax forms as well as employee commissions, bonus, and incentive calculations.

Microsoft Dynamics GP Payroll?

1. We have integrated ADP payroll (and Workforce Now) and Ceridian business payroll software (Dayforce) for Endeavour clients who are running Microsoft Dynamics GP.
2. We can also recommend other 3rd party add-on products to integrate with Dynamics GP ERP.
3. There is a Canadian Payroll module within Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) for which Endeavour has strong consulting and support expertise.  Note that Dynamics GP 2018 reached the end of Microsoft support July 2023.  There will be no more tax updates from Microsoft for GP 2016, GP 2015, GP 2013, or earlier.  Upgrade this quarter to the latest release of Dynamics GP in 2025! (18.7.xx)
4. We can assist with running specialized reports, making changes to taxes and printing of POE documents in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
5. We can assist in implementing 3rd-party products such as e-Pay Stub which sends a PDF via email rather than printing and mailing paper.  Endeavour can also recommend robust HR Management, Leave Management, Expense Management and Time Tracking systems.
6. RISKS - unfortunately there are rumors and concerns about Canadian Payroll being costly (or removed) from updates after 2028.  These are only rumors and do not follow any announcement from Microsoft (Rumor is based on the high cost and effort for Microsoft to update Payroll annually).  There are some 3rd party providers that we expect will step-in, for a fee, to provide payroll updates if Microsoft makes a move.  Endeavour and our GP Support North Team will be sure to be able to offer to resell these options for our clients.
